Don’t get me wrong, I think the lad has real quality and would really add to our midfield threat but is he worth the £13.5million release clause Benfica have placed on him?

Goal scoring hero Peter Crouch says he is ready to fight for his place in his team and is ready to challenge any new arrivals at the club for his place in the run out side.

Gooner boss Arsene Wenger thinks we will wipe the floor with PSV in the Champions League after he saw his team dismantled by us at Anfield on the weekend.
Wenger said: “PSV are a team that defend well but against us they had a total of three shots.
“Offensively they are not a big threat and won’t get away with just defending.
