Joe Cole wants LFC title

New Reds play maker Joe Cole is confident the club can push for the Premier League title in the years to come.

He said: “I left a mark at Chelsea, being part of great teams that won things, Player of the Year and stuff, and I am proud of that.

“Even last season, when I kept pushing to try and prove I was worth a start, I made a mark in the double team despite the injuries, and I’m proud of that too.

“Now I want to leave my mark at a massive club like this as well – I’m really excited about it.

“Someone once gave me the advice that when you move, you should always make sure you are part of the club. It’s a big challenge for me, but I will do that here – I will immerse myself in this club’s history and hope we can repeat the success they have had.

“One thing I guarantee is that they club has a player who will give 100 per cent every day, not just on match days, and be part of it, and I am confident we will do much better than last year too.

“This whole club is built on success. You look at the pictures around this place and you can see the history, the tradition, what this club means – and you want to be part of that.

“I can feel the hunger and the desire here, and that’s a great base to come from. The gaffer’s experience and organisation are another positive and with all the quality players they have here, I am convinced we are in at the ground floor at the start of something here.

“As soon as I walked into this place I loved it and I really do believe we can do something special here.”

Go Joe son, cant wait to see you tearing it up at Anfield.
