Barca thump useless Mancs

Victorious Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola

Ah what a night!!!! Watching the dirty Manc Scum trounced by a brilliant Barcelona team was the next best thing to us being there ourselves. The look on Ferguson’s face was priceless…It reminded me of a certain look he had the last time we visited Old Trafford ;)

Goals from Samuel Eto’o in the 10th minute and Lionel Messi in the 70th was enough to see the Catalan giants pick up their third trophy of the season and send the Mancs into disarray. I love it.

A distraught Cristiano Ronaldo blamed Alex Ferguson’s tactics following the defeat. He said: “This is the biggest disappointment of my career,”

”I’m always confident in my own ability and confident that we can win whenever we play, which makes it even more disappointing. We had 10 minutes and then we never found ourselves again,”

”The tactics were not good and everything went wrong.”

When asked if he would be at Old Trafford next season, he replied: “I don’t know”

Well it seems Ronaldo is finally off to Madrid and Tevez is joining a real club (Kop that Fergie hahaha) so things couldn’t look better for us going into next season.
One more thing for all the dirty mancs before I go. Ferguson did say he was desperate to win the CL this season so the club can be closer to the great sides of Europe. That’s right son!!! THE GREAT SIDES!!! Like us.. 5 TIMES FERGIE!!! DON’T YOU FORGET IT!!!

Crouch thrilled with final chance

Crouchy has expressed his excitement to be part of the upcoming Champions League final in Athens.

Crouch told The Independent: “I remember thinking what a fantastic stage it was to play on, so to actually have a chance of repeating that is the best part of it,”

“People may have thought after 2005 that wouldn’t happen again for a good few years but once the boys had a taste of success it made them hungry. And we seem to do it in this competition.

“I have enjoyed this season, we have played well and when I have played in the Champions League I seem to have scored.

“Having got to the final and having the chance of winning it I am proud of the goals I have scored to help get us there.”

He added: “Beating Barcelona in the Nou Camp was a fantastic achievement that all the lads can be proud of,”

“Against Chelsea, there was so much to lose and thankfully we came out on top. I don’t think anyone cared what kind of game it was as long as we got to the final.”

When asked if there was any possibility of him leaving the club this summer, he said: “I don’t want to go anywhere, I’m happy,”

“I have had a fantastic two years, I won the FA Cup in the first year and I hope I can add the Champions League.”
